This house is the oldest civil building in Embrun, a vestige of the town's archiepiscopal past. Now restored, it has regained all its original architectural features, including a Romanesque façade with geminated windows, a 13th-century coffered ceiling, a 17th-century French ceiling and 16th-century murals.
This 13th-century architectural gem has been home to the Maison du Patrimoine de l'Embrunais since 2007. This Embrun heritage interpretation centre is an exhibition and promotion venue (exhibitions, conferences, concerts, screenings, etc.).
