Located on a hill overlooking the Buëch Valley, Lagrand offers a magnificent panorama. It is a lovely village with its beautiful cobbled streets, arcaded houses and its church Notre-Dame de la Nativité from 12th century (listed as a Historic Monument). Although restored, this one preserves the austere character of the Romanesque art buildings. Concerts are regularly scheduled in this church.
In the adjoining outbuildings, a school of yesteryear has been restored ... it is open during the summer season or during events in the village.
