L'église Saint-Michel
Réotier
To get there, take the departmental route 38 through a series of hamlets, then take a small road to the right and start climbing - when you feel as if you can touch the sky, you've arrived.
From the chestnut tree in front of the church, you can see the vicarage on the left, the former chapel of the brotherhood of penitents on the right and the cemetery below. You're now in the heart of the medieval village of Réotier, which hasn't existed since the 18th century. The inhabitants have long since migrated to the scattered hamlets you will have seen.
