A former owner of the house must certainly have belonged to the Order of the Knights of Malta. A little further on, another house is decorated by a hand of justice on the door lintel. This depiction evokes the presence in this house of a man of law. This same house is also decorated with vine branches, a reminder that Saint Crépin is also a wine-growing region. Finally, there is an enigmatic inscription to the right of the entrance to Maison Sarrazin. It can be read in two ways: the first name Jesus, a religious reference, or 1511S, the date followed by a capital S, suggesting the owner's name beginning with the letter S.
