The village of Vars Sainte-Marie invites you on a journey through time—whether you’re a nature lover or a fan of live entertainment, there’s something for everyone.
Today’s schedule:
In the morning:
10 a.m.: Start of the procession.
Meet at the tennis courts, followed by a Mass at 10:30 a.m. at the ecumenical center
From 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the village:
- Food market
- Bird Protection League booth
- XXL wooden games
- Yard sale (sign up at 06 32 41 57 91)
Afternoon:
- Cotton candy sale by the COV
- From 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM: Board games with the Guillestre game library
- From 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.: Face-painting booth
- Starting at 2:00 p.m.: Soap bubble show
- 2:30 p.m.: Petanque tournament—Dédé Dominique Challenge—Sign up at Hotel 16-150
- 2:00 p.m.: Tour of the village of Sainte-Marie
- 3:00 PM: Lecture at the Ecumenical Center: “15,000 Years of Vars History,” presented by journalist Jacques Maleyran
- Starting at 5:00 PM: Four-Village Games on the Vars Sainte-Marie snowfront
- 6:30 p.m.: Concert featuring the Vars organ at the Ecumenical Center
In the evening:
- 7:30 p.m.: Concert with “La Serenade”
- 9:00 p.m.: Concert with “Fisherman’s Friends”
- Refreshments available on site
