This chapel is typical of small cultural buildings in a mountain environment. Modest in size, it provides shelter and a place to reflect. The interior of the chapel is covered by a small stone barrel vault. The gable wall is dominated by a stone comb bell tower topped by a small cross. A bell is placed in the embrasure of the single bay covered by a semi-circular arch. The roof has recently undergone maintenance work and the entire building has been covered in larch shingles.
The central doorway is topped by an oculus. Probably built on the site of a former opidum.

The former chapel of St Mark has disappeared, but its bell has been preserved.
