House of Geology
Puy-Saint-André
The Maison de la Géologie et du Géoparc presents the geological riches of the Briançonnais region. It has three museographic areas:
- the outdoor geodrome, which retraces the geological history of the Alps along a pathway
- the indoor museum, with its many educational and interactive tools. A projection room completes the museum, showing films on local geology.
- a planetarium where you can learn about astronomy and make the connection between rocks and stars! Varied sessions all year round, for youngsters aged 3 and over and older visitors alike.
A dinosaur exhibition completes the History of the Earth in the Universe: 4 life-size models of dinosaurs are on display at the Maison de la Géologie.
Activities on offer: indoor museum and outdoor Geodrome, planetarium sessions, numerous conferences, events, guided field trips, training courses.
