This film uses the beauty of the high-altitude lakes as a starting point to meet the people who study them. Filmed largely in the Ecrins National Park, this documentary takes us on an astonishing journey through the natural world, where the beauty of the landscapes and scientific discoveries combine to offer us a fresh perspective on these remote corners of the world. Studies were carried out in particular on the lakes of Muzelle, Lauvitel, Arsine and Pavé.
